UCD ranked third in the worldwide list of 1,292 clubs as the Dublin club's U21 players completed 78% of the club's total minutes throughout the 2019 Airtricity Premier Division season.
Complied by the CIES Football Observatory which specialises in the statistical analysis of football, the study presents the percentage of minutes played in the current season or the last completed one by U21 players from 1,292 clubs across the globe.
Warrenpoint Town (13th), representing the Danske Bank Irish Premiership, are the next Irish club to appear with their U21 representatives completing over half (55%) of their total minutes. Check out where your team ranks below.

University College Dublin, relegated from the Premier Division in 2019, fielded U21s for a whopping 78% of total minutes throughout the season.
2. Warrenpoint Town
Warrenpoint Town currently sitting second from bottom in the Irish Premiership, came 13th in the global list and 2nd in list of Irish clubs with 55%.
3. Waterford
Alan Reynolds' Waterford are ranked fourth Irish club on the list with the Blues U21s completing 32.7% of the total minutes throughout the season.
