The ‘Candy Stripes’ had until 5 p.m. on Wednesday to lodge an official complaint with the FAI regarding an incident which occurred after the Cork City match at Turners Cross on Friday night.

Mr O’Doherty said the club stopped short of submitting an official complaint, however, he believes the matter is now in the hands of the FAI after Derry City answered a series of question relating to the incident this week.

“We haven’t lodged a complaint but the FAI has asked us some questions and we’ve responded so it’s now in the hands of the FAI,” said Mr O’Doherty.
