The squad, who take on Derry City at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium, booked into a city centre hotel before being transported to a training session by bus.
The Riga players looked relaxed and joked with some Derry City fans in the hotel lobby before setting off for last minute training ahead of the match, which kicks off at 7.45pm.
The second leg will take place on July 14.
