GREYHOUNDS: '˜Movin Cain' the Lifford nap

There will be a good 12 race card of graded racing at Lifford Greyhound Stadium tomorrow night and '˜Movin Cain', owned by Sean White from Strabane looks the nap on the card.

The June ‘14 dog has a great record at the Co. Donegal venue and he won in good style last week in a time of 19.05 for the 350 yards.

He also won his previous race at the track so he is seeking the hat-trick in tomorrow night’s race.

He runs from trap two and remains in the same grade tomorrow night. So if he shows his normal flying early pace he looks the one to be on!

The second bet on the card, for me, will be ‘Smurfing Affair’ in the 11th race over 600 yards.

The June 14 dog, owned by Eunan McBride/Brian Cooper has been racing at Brandywell Stadium in recent weeks and he won a 500 yards race there in good style in a time of 28.66.

The step up to 600 yards will be a major plus for ‘Smurfing Affair’ tomorrow night and he should win for his in-form kennel who had a treble last week at the track.

The final bet on the card is ‘Rafas Wee Whiz’ in the last race of the night over 525 yards. The May 14 bitch ran really well in an A3 600 last week at the track when she finished third and although the drop back to 525 yards is not ideal for ‘Rafas Wee Whiz’ tomorrow night, the fact that she drops back to A4 grade and runs from her favoured trap one is eye-catching and she looks the most likely winner of the race, the first race will be at 7.50 p.m. tomorrow night as normal.

Brandywell Dogs

There will be no racing at Brandywell Stadium on Monday, July 11th.

The next meeting will be on Monday, July 18th and the Lotto jackpot will be carried forward to that meeting. It now stands at £3,500.
