McGahey scoops high checkout prize on Week 2 of Energise Sales online Darts League

Last week saw the second week of league fixtures in the Energise Sales Online Darts league with the standard of play showing a considerable improvement on week one as players begin to shake the 'cobwebs' off after the inactivity of the Covid enforced lockdown.

Indeed, one man showing no signs of ring rustiness was Richard McGahy who secured the highest finish of the week with a clinical 124 outshot in his impressive 6-0 victory over Rossa Mullan.

Elsewhere, and making his comeback to darts, Paul Dunne gave Dan Gill a real scare, forcing the experienced Gill to call on all his determination to see him over the line in a thriller. Sean Dunleavy also enjoyed a comprehensive 6-0 victory over the normally consistent Mark Hegarty for whom missed doubles cost him dearly with Dunleavy only too ready to pounce and bag all the points
