SNOOKER: Tracey's complete high-profile cup treble

Tracey's Bar joined the elite group of clubs to win all three major North-West Snooker Knockout Cup team tournaments in the same year '“ Premier, Senior and Pairs '“ the clean sweep signed, sealed and delivered after defeating Glendermott CC in the Senior Cup final, held last Tuesday night at the William Street snooker-room.

After playing second-fiddle to Tracey’s in the Premier Cup (final) and Pairs Cup (quarter-final), the ‘Glens’ were bidding to make it a case of third time lucky the ‘hard way’ (table disadvantage), only to endure another dismal night at the office.

The William Street side romped home 3-0, courtesy of cosy wins from Gerald McCloskey and Anthony McGill, allied to a close verdict from Emmett Casson (best-match break of 31).
