SEO and Trends Writer
I’m an SEO and trends writer for National World creating content for publications across the UK, including Manchester World, Birmingham World and Yorkshire Evening Post. I write a mixture of national and regional articles but specialise in property, what’s on and breaking news including the death of Queen Elizabeth II. I grew up in western Sweden in a Yorkshire family and spent two years at the University of Gothenburg studying journalism before relocating to Leeds Trinity University for my final year. I wrote my bachelor’s thesis on ICU staff and their view of the media during the early stages of the pandemic, and ended up published as part of an anthology alongside well known professors and journalists. Before moving to England, I worked as a news reporter for Swedish national broadcaster Sveriges Radio P4, where I reported on everything going on in the area known as Sjuharad. Currently living in Leeds, you will often find me in music venues or at festivals enjoying anything from rap and hip hop to punk and indie rock. You might also find me at the occasional pub quiz, where my teams often end up either winning or coming dead last. I am also a lifelong Arsenal supporter, despite never having attended a football game in my life.
