Asphalt resurfacing contracts to be awarded this month
Road resurfacing contracts for Strabane, Magherafelt and Omagh are expected to be awarded this month, the Infrastructure Minister John O'Dowd has confirmed.

He was asked about asphalt resurfacing contracts by way of an Assembly Question.
"The current asphalt resurfacing procurement strategy consists of four phases with six new term contracts in each," he said. "The assessment of tenders for the first phase, which includes contracts for Magherafelt, Omagh, Dungannon, Strabane, Newry & Mourne, and Down, is well underway with contracts anticipated to be awarded in June 2022."
