Elemental CEO retains her place as one of the ‘most influential women in tech’

Local businesswoman Leeann Monk-Ozgul has been listed on Computer Weekly’s long list with over 400 women who have worked to increase diversity in the technology industry and have contributed to the sector.

Leeann said the announcement will ‘wave the flag for women in tech’. “With our background in community development, Jennifer Neff and I have always been passionate about empowering individuals to improve their health and wellbeing and we recognised that technology had a vital role to play.

“We set out to mainstream social prescribing and make huge impacts to the lives of thousands of people around the UK and Ireland. It’s not just tech for the sake of tech, it’s tech for good, designed with a people first approach.

“To see the impact our customers have made during Covid19 using Elemental has hugely emphasised the need for digital and remote health solutions,” she said.
