There’s so many lovely walking spots in Derry that are perfect for pooches. Be careful not to walk the dog when it’s very warm out, provide plenty of water and always pick up after your dog.

'Out the line' by the old railway line along the Foyle towards Carrigans. This path is shaded at parts so can be cooler than other paths when the sun is shining.

Take a walk around the reservoir in Creggan Country Park and enjoy all the sights and smells nature has to offer.
