At midnight on Monday 20 people were being treated as coronavirus inpatients across all Western Trust hospitals.

Three of 10 (30%) ICU beds at Altnagelvin were being used to treat COVID-19 patients; five (50%) were occupied by patients with other conditions and two (20%) were free.

Five ICU patients in total were being ventilated - one was a COVID-19 patient and four were non-COVID-19 patients.

In terms of general occupancy 3.36% of beds at Altnagelvin were ‘COVID-19 occupied’, 89.60% were ‘other occupied’ and there was 0.61% capacity left in the system; 6.42% were ‘awaiting admission.’

There have been no further deaths.
