COVID-19 rate rises on cityside, falls in Waterside and Strabane, while Castlederg records zero cases
The seven-day COVID-19 rate in the BT48 postcode has risen while there have been falls in the Waterside and Strabane and Castlederg has recorded no cases of the virus.
Between March 22 and March 28 there were 52 SARS-CoV-2 cases on the cityside (BT48) giving a rate per 100,000 of 85.4, up slightly from a figure of 77.2 per 100,000 for the March 15 to March 21 period that was registered last Monday.
In the BT47 postal area - the Waterside as far as Dungiven - there were 24 positive tests over the same weekly period giving a rate per 100,000 of 38.8, down on the figure of 56.6 this time last week.

In Strabane (BT82) there were 33 cases giving a prevalence rate of 122.7 cases per 100,000. This was down on the figure of 148.8 last week.
Strabane has the fourth highest rate in the north after BT80 (Cookstown; 145.9), BT45 (South Derry;141.6) and BT71 (East Tyrone from Stewartstown to the Moy including Dungannon;128.4).
