The tribute concert in honour of Aodhán who was just 19 when he died in July 2018, and Oran, aged 18, who passed away from severe aplastic anaemia (SAA) in November 2019, was organised to raise funds for the charities Foyle Search and Rescue, Zest - Healing The Hurt, CLIC Sargent and the Anthony Nolan Trust.

Aodhán’s godmother, Ailish O’Kane, a teacher at St. Columb's, said it was a huge success.

"Special thanks go to Ciaran Stevenson for coordinating a ‘Class’ lineup, along with Kev Quigley and Leo Fitzpatrick, on the night in memory of Aodhán and Oran. The music artists gave their all in their time slot, even answering play requests.

"This made it a most enjoyable and sometimes emotional appreciation to the boys, their families and the charities. If you did get the time to view, you would have seen the unbelievable engagement from the school and wider community, past pupils, the families and the charities," she said.
