Yeah, I said it. The results that you didn’t want up until now aren’t your fault.

How? Well 95% of the day our habits control our actions.

So many of these habits we do without thought, conscious thought or awareness.

Our subconscious brain controls so many of our habits and actions daily, so we move into action without ever really thinking about it.

Like a computer playing through a program.

Habits, beliefs, patterns that are not in our conscious awareness are usually what controls most of our days and ultimately our lives.

So a lot of the results you have seen up until now, might not be your fault.

Our beliefs and habits are so strong and so ingrained in our subconscious mind we follow them daily without ever thinking.

Take driving a car as an example..... You don’t need to think about changing gear, looking in the mirrors, be aware of letting your foot off the accelerator and on the clutch once you have learned those patterns over and over again.

Of course you don’t. But what other patterns and habits have we picked up throughout life that we don’t think about anymore, those things we just do?

There are tonnes and most do not serve us anymore. Myself included, and it’s why I’ve worked so hard on myself first and foremost so that I can break my negative habits, to see better results in my life.

And that continues each day and, yes, I am not in control of them all but I’m certainly more aware of them.

To change results we need to change the program.

To change the program we need to do the work.

To do that work we need to be aware of what we want to change.

And it all starts with your current results.

Where are you right now in life?

The results that keep surfacing, are they truly the results you want?And it’s ok, we can’t change it all right now but we can change.

It starts with more and more conscious awareness, or meta cognition, which simply means becoming aware of how you actually think and the patterns that play out.

Once we reach that stage we can begin to see how our thinking patterns are leading us to behavioural patterns and they are leading us to the behaviours we don’t want to see, we can call a halt to the triggers that cause the behaviour.

Now it takes more than just being aware don’t get me wrong, it’s the action steps and the will power and desire to change results that matter most.

If the results you have aren’t how you’d like them, you can change them!

So, yeah, some results might not be your fault in life but it is certainly your responsibility to change them moving forward.
