Three more admitted with COVID-19 to Altnagelvin with 14.64% capacity left at Derry hospital

A man in his 40s was admitted to the Derry hospital on Friday.
A man and a woman were admitted yesterday. The woman was aged between 20 and 39 while the man was in his 50s.

Hide AdAt midnight on Sunday 42 people were being treated as coronavirus inpatients across Western Trust hospitals.
Six of 12 (50%) ICU beds at Altnagelvin were being used to treat COVID-19 patients; three (25%) were occupied by patients with other conditions and three (25%) were free.
Six ICU patients in total were being ventilated - four were COVID-19 patients and two were non-COVID-19 patients.

Hide AdIn terms of general occupancy 9.03% of beds at Altnagelvin were ‘COVID-19 occupied’, 75.08% were ‘other occupied’ and the hospital had 14.64% capacity left in the system: 1.29% were ‘awaiting admission.’
