A-level results: St. Patrick's College, Dungiven

School principal Michael Gormley praised A2 students for their “excellent results with many improving on their AS grades”.

Mr. Gormley said, overall, top A2 student for 2016 was Amy Quigg achieving A*A, A, C.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to publicly acknowledge the tremendous work and effort of our staff in contributing to these results, and thank them sincerely on behalf of our students and their parents,” he said.

Mr. Gormley had a special word of congratulations for Year 13 students who he said achieved excellent AS results.

“Overall top AS students for 2016 were Rebecca Bradley, Emma McAteer, Chloe McCormick and Coleen McGuigan who each achieved AA, B,” he said.

“I have every confidence that our GCSE students will also achieve excellent results. I would encourage all GCSE students and their parents to review our A Level track record and either continue their studies here at St Patrick’s College or join us as a new Year 13 candidate this coming September. Prospective 6th Form students from all schools are invited to arrange an interview with a member of our Senior Management on Thursday 25th or Friday 26th August to secure a place in our new Year 13 class for 2016-2017.”
