Audio: Pope Francis is a marxist and not welcome in the North, says Rev. Brown
Rev. Brown, who was pastor to the city’s Free Presbyterian Congregation for years before he took over at Rev. Ian Paisley’s old church Martyrs’ Memorial in 2013, said that Pope Francis betrays his communism in his apostolic exhortation, ‘Evangelii Gaudium: The Joy of the Gospel’.In a sermon posted at SermonAudio, “the largest and most trusted library of audio sermons from conservative churches and ministries worldwide,” on Wednesday, Rev. Brown said: “The Pope’s gospel is a social gospel whereby people are saved by helping the poor, by getting along with each other and this carries over into his economic theory that is purely marxist.
“And to crown his errors, far from exalting the person and work of our only saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Pope directs his highest praise to Mary.”

Rev. Brown has vowed to peacefully protest any visit by the Pope to the North, should one be forthcoming.
Pope Francis, in his ‘Evangelii Gaudium’ of 2013, states that “demands involving the distribution of wealth, concern for the poor and human rights cannot be suppressed under the guise of creating a consensus on paper or a transient peace for a contented minority”.
