Ballykelly builder's 9th gong

Ballykelly builder John Logue has been recognised by his peers for the ninth time for his work on the Plantation View development in Limavady.

The 56-year-old, who is a site manager with Taggart Homes collected his ninth major National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job award at a glittering ceremony at The Culloden Hotel on Friday, November 11.

It’s the third time he has picked up the prestigious Seal of Excellence award.

John started his career eas a bricklayer and assumed his first supervisory role in the mid-80s when he was in his late 20s.

“My name is on the award but it’s all down to the team and it motives me and them as a result and the work they do and they high standards they strive for really makes my life a lot easier,” he said.
