Derry judge says man facing alleged offences seemingly 'decided to ignore the rules of the road'
A man who a judge said had seemingly 'decided to ignore the rules of the road' has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court in connection with a number of alleged offences.
Martin Duddy (30) of Marianus Park appeared charged with breaching his bail and with driving a motorcycle without a driving licence, no insurance and failing to stop for a police officer on Creggan Road on September 9.
A police officer connected the accused to the charges.
The court heard that the defendant had no record but had been before the court in July for a similar alleged incident.

The court was told that the bike in question had been seized by police on two occasions.
Deputy District Judge Brian Archer said he would release Duddy on bail with stringent conditions.
Duddy was granted bail on condition he does not drive any vehicle, only travels in a car as a rear sear passenger. He is also not allowed on a motorcycle at all.
Judge Archer told the defendant he had done so well to reach his age with no record but he had to abide by his conditions.
Duddy will appear again on September 16.
