Derry man returned for trial on driving charge
A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court charged with driving while disqualified following a Preliminary Enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court.
Ruairi Canning (34) of Maureen Avenue in Derry was charged with the alleged offence, said to have occurred on December 5 last year.
It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Canning chose not to call any witnesses nor to submit any statements.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on September 9.
