Driver who sped into oncoming traffic pleads guilty to dangerous driving at Derry court

A man will be sentenced in December after he admitted a charge of dangerous driving at Derry Magistrate's Court.

Jack McGough (24) of Mimosa Court in Derry was charged with dangerous driving and failing to stop for police after an incident on May 26 this year.

Police were out on patrol when they observed a car driven by McGough pulling out into traffic.

Police indicated for the driver to stop but he refused, driving erratically and speeding into oncoming traffic.
