Man allegedly told Derry Halloween visitors he would 'slice and dice' them and ran onto train tracks
A man who allegedly told Derry Halloween visitors he would 'slice and dice' them before running onto train tracks has been remanded in custody at Derry Magistrate's Court after being told he was 'a most unsuitable candidate for bail'.
Gareth Bradley (39) with an address in Limavady appeared charged with disorderly behaviour at the railway station in Derry, possessing class B and C drugs, resisting police, threats to kill and assault on a man. All of the offences were said to have occurred on October 31.
A police officer connected the accused to the charges and opposed bail.
The court heard that at 7.40pm police received several phone calls about a man trying to get over railings at the railway station.

They were told that this man had threatened some people coming to the city for the Halloween celebrations telling them he would 'slice and dice' them.
Bradley was alleged to have assaulted one man at the station before running off onto the railway line.
Police said they observed Bradley on the line and eventually approached him and he allegedly tried to run.
Police arrested him and a quantity of drugs was allegedly found on him.
Bail was objected to as there was 'a clear risk of re-offending'.
As regards the address, the court was told that the homeowner at that address said Bradley had no connection to that address.
A defence solicitor said that his client had drug issues and was seeking help.
District Judge Suzanne Rice said Bradley had 'an appalling record' and had been before numerous courts.
She said this had been 'reprehensible offending behaviour' and refused bail.
Bradley was remanded in custody to appear again on November 30.
