Man and woman charged with child cruelty through neglect
A man and a woman have appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court charged with child cruelty.
Neither could not be named in order to protect the identity of the alleged victim.
They were both charged with two counts of cruelty of a child through neglect, and one count of possessing a class B drug on April 18, 2026 .
Both were connected to the charges by a police officer.
The case was adjourned until December 2. They were released on bail on condition they have no unsupervised contact with anyone under 18.
