Man and youth accused of GBH banned from Derry CIty FC matches while on bail
Two people have been released on bail on condition they don’t attend any Derry City FC matches or go within 100 metres of the Ryan McBride Brandywell stadium.
The man and teenager have been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a charge of inflicting grievious bodily harm on a man.
Zachary Doherty (19) of Claremont Manse in Derry and a 17-year-old youth appeared at a Preliminary Enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court on Monday.
They were both charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on a man on April 11, 2025, and the youth was further charged with threatening to damage a bus on the same date.

It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Neither defendant said they wished to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
They were both returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on July 1 and released on bail with the conditions relating to Derry City.
