Man charged with intimidation of a witness returned for trial to Derry Crown Court
A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court following a Preliminary Enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court.
Jason Barton (33) of Clon Elagh was charged with, on August 18, intimidation of a witness, juror and others, making threats to kill, making threats to damage property and making a threatening communication.
It was accepted that there was a case to answer. There were no contrary submissions.
Barton chose not to call any witnesses nor submit any statements.
He was returned for trial on July 3.
