Woman admits stealing makeup from Derry chemist shop
A woman has been sentenced at Derry Magistrate's Court after she admitted stealing make-up from Bradley's Chemist in the city.
Sam Marie McGinley (36) of Rose Court in the Waterside area of Derry was charged with stealing make-up worth £114.26 on June 30 of this year.
Police told the court that they watched CCTV footage of McGinley taking the items from the chemist premises.
The court was also told that when police located the missing make-up, it was deemed that it was not fit for resale.

Defence solicitor Keith Kyle said that McGinley had suffered a mental health crisis before the incident, but added that she had pleaded guilty and had a relevant record.
District Judge Suzanne Rice noted McGinley's ten previous theft convictions, but gave her credit for making full admissions and for her guilty plea.
The judge ordered a restitution order and sentenced her to one month in custody, suspended for 12 months.
