Creggan bulky lift to start tomorrow

The service, which is being organised by TRIAX Neighbourhood Management Team (TNMT) in conjunction with Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC), will take place on Wednesday February 3, Wednesday February 17 and Wednesday March 2.

Different areas in Creggan will be able to avail of the service on a designated day.

Sinn Fein Councillor Kevin Campbell of the TNMT said: “All residents will receive a leaflet through the door explaining the day and time the council lorry will call to their street and what can and cannot be left out for collection.

“This is a great opportunity for residents to get rid of unwanted clutter and excess rubbish that has been building up and getting in their way since Christmas.

“The bulky lift is a yearly event which is widely supported by residents in the area,” said Colr. Campbell.
