The court heard that police were called to the Methodist Mission after the 24-year-old was asked to leave the property and he made the threat.

During police interview, O’Neill said he did not intend to carry out the threat.

Defence counsel Steven Mooney said the address was no longer available to his client.

District Judge Ted Magill imposed a conditional discharge for 12 months and said O’Neill must stay out of trouble.
