Driver of overturned lorry has lucky escape

The driver of a lorry that overturned on the Skeoge Road on Wednesday morning escaped with minor injuries, the '˜Journal understands.

The lorry, which is registered in the South of Ireland, overturned onto a footpath and a set of traffic lights shortly before 6a.m.

It is unclear what caused the incident.

The Skeoge Road has re-opened.
