Ardmore Road scheme set to get under way on Monday
The improvement scheme, which starts close to the Ballybogie Road and progresses south east towards Berryburn Bridge for a distance of 1.2km, includes resurfacing of the carriageway and upgrading of road drainage.
Daily lane closures will operate Monday to Saturday, between 8am and 6pm. A full road closure will be required towards the end of the five weeks.

It is excellent news that it is to be resurfaced, at a cost of a quarter of a million pounds. During the long period of the suspension of the Assembly and Executive, much of NI’s infrastructure had fallen into poor repair and I am pleased that my party colleague Nichola Mallon is making progress in addressing the backlog and in bringing Derry’s road system to the standard required.”
