SDLP Foyle MLA Sinead McLaughlin said: “Ardmore Road is a heavily used road that had fallen into a bad state. It is excellent news that it is to be resurfaced, at a cost of a quarter of a million pounds. During the long period of the suspension of the Assembly and Executive, much of NI’s infrastructure had fallen into poor repair and I am pleased that my party colleague Nichola Mallon is making progress in addressing the backlog and in bringing Derry’s road system to the standard required.”
