EXCLUSIVE - Derry ATM Santa Claus breaks silence

The Derry Journal has managed to track down Santa Claus, who was spotted withdrawing cash from an ATM in Derry city centre on Wednesday.

The photo of Santa at the cash machine captured the imagination of the city when it was shared by Enterprise North West on Facebook.

The ‘Journal’ was contacted by Santa Claus after it shared the photograph on social media on Thursday morning.

“I had to go to my Santander account yesterday [Wednesday] because my dividend from the Credit Union wasn’t as big this year,” said Mr. Claus.

The same Santa Claus was spotted hours later driving a convertible grey Volkswagen on the Buncrana Road.

Looks like Christmas is safe and sound again!
