'˜Friends' Spring Walls Walk 2016
Derry's fortifications will be on parade this Saturday when the Friends of the Derry Walls hold their annual Spring Walls Walk.
This year, the Walls Walk will include not just the Walls of Derry but also an examination of the surviving fortifications of the Ebrington Star Fort.
The walk will be conducted Mark Lusby, coordinator for the Friends of the Derry Walls, and Aoibheann Mullan, who has provided tours for special interest groups since 2000.
The Spring Walls Walk will start at 2.30pm sharp from Ollie’s Café in Ebrington and will last approximately two hours, ending at Shipquay Place.
