The play park has been vandalised on two other occasions in as many months, prompting Mr. O’Hara to consider a review of weekend opening and closing times.
“This is a community facility that is popular with children and all the vandals are doing is destroying it for local people. I’m fed up with it. I don’t know what to say anymore,” said Mr. O’Hara.

“I believe there are people out there who know what’s happening and who is responsible. They have to come forward with the information so these people can be challenged.”
A spokesperson for Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council responded on Tuesday stating they had not received any reports of damage to the playpark in recent days.
