The 27-year-old farmer/contractor discovered a talent for jiving back in 2010 and said he hasn’t stopped since.

“It turned out to be something I’m good at and, if you’re good at something, you enjoy it. I could dance for hours, flat out.

“You couldn’t beat it,” he said.

In between farming suckler cows and sheep, operating a contractor business and running dance classes, Kevin also does a coal run.

“I’ve a busy schedule. I just wish we had better weather so I could get dancing,” he said.

Kevin also runs dance classes in Muff, County Donegal, in Derry and in Greysteel.

“The first class I held in Greysteel, 112 people turned up,” said Kevin.

“I’m fitter now than ever.”

Presenter Lynette Fay said: “The fantastic contributors depict every aspect of the burgeoning country music scene.

“It’s a fun, feel good series.”
