Man's jaw broken: Police plea for information

Foyle police have appealed for information about a serious assault that occurred in Derry shortly before Christmas.

Police are appealing for information following the report of a serious assault on a man in the Buncrana Road area of Derry in the early hours of Sunday, 20 December 2015. He sustained a broken jaw as a result of this assault.

The assailant is described as being approximately 5’10”, of a large muscular build, with black hair and wearing a blue jumper with a Christmas design on it.

Constable James Fletcher would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this assault or who has any information to contact Police at Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101.
