The front man, who won a host of medals during his Candy Stripes career, goes for a traditional 4-4-2 formation, so here's his best 11 players he played with at the Brandywell and the reasons why....
9. James Keddy
James Keddy (Left-Wing): People talk about sides doing a 'high press now', we were doing that in 1996-97 under Felix Healy and Jamsie was always pushing in on the full-back. The year we won the league I think he scored 11/12 goals from the left wing and he was an unbelievable player for us that season.
10. Liam Coyle
Liam Coyle (Striker): I had to try and replace Liam Coyle at Derry City and it was impossible, was I the closest you could get?, probably, but I was never going to replace him. He was a type of player that I just watched and watched and tried to take on board as much as I could. He was unique and the best player I ever played with.
11. Mark Farren
Mark Farren (Striker): Farrenso was a great player. He made my life so easy and extended my career for another few years. We loved playing with each other and we never ever had a cross word. He is a player that we will never forget.
12. Barry Molloy
Barry Molloy (Substitute): Baz was very unlucky not to make my starting 11. He was a top player and Higgsy just pipped him for that centre-midfield spot. He gave his all for Derry and was a super bloke off the pitch.
