Oil thieves '˜must be stopped' - Dobbins
SDLP councillor for the Culmore area, Angela Dobbins, is calling on people to report suspicious activity to the PSNI after thieves stole a quantity of home heating oil from a house in the area at the weekend.
Colr. Dobbins said those responsible for the theft “must be stopped”.
“Another residence in the Culmore area has had a quantity of oil stolen from their oil tank,” said Colr. Dobbins.

Hide Ad“This is not the first house in the vicinity to have been affected by oil theft and I am asking residents to be more vigilant and to report any suspicious activity or any knowledge of those involved to PSNI, no matter how insignificant it may appear.
“Crimes like these are definitely on the rise and those involved are intent in causing hardship and distress to their victims and must be stopped,” added Colr. Dobbins.
