Presented by Eden Place Arts, Culture Night sees the launch of Eabha Mallett Coyle’s first solo exhibition: ‘Foundations’. ‘This exhibition is a collection of paintings that pays tribute to a generation in Derry who, managed to survive and thrive in this city through times of great social, civil and political unrest. They are the women that filled Derry’s factories, the hard-working men and manual labourers, and the community activists who dreamt of giving their children more than what they had. These are the people who laid the foundations for the community and society in which I live today.’ Exhibition will be launched at 7pm on Culture Night and will stay on show until 14th October and can be viewed Mon-Fri 10am-6pm for that time period.
