Chrissy Mac, one of Ireland’s rising stars on the Country circuit, showed up as a special treat for little Jack Beattie and his family in the town of Raphoe as he marked his 9th birthday indoors.

Jack has underlying health problems which have caused him to miss his last three birthdays due to illness, and family friend Evelyn Ayton decided to help make this a birthday he would never forget.

“So Chrissy Mac decided to pack up the van, bring all the gear and do a one of a kind social distance performance for birthday Boy Jack right in his driveway, with Jack taking his seat inside the window ready to enjoy all his favourite country hits.”

Chrissy Mac said bringing a smile to Jack’s face was one of the main highlights of his career to date, and he was delighted that he was able to make the young lad’s birthday that extra special.
