Christmas Carol Concert in Moville in memory of true legend Adrian Harkin

The Halyon Club in Moville will be hosting its second annual carol concert this Saturday, December 13 to raise funds for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The event is taking in memory of Adrian Harkin, the former owner of Moville’s Inish Adventures water sports activity centre.

After receiving a devastating diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in 2022, Adrian set about raising tens of thousands of euros for the charity that had supported him and his family.

He passed away in June, 2024.

Local singer-songwriter Sarah McGuinness who is organising the event said: “Adrian was inspirational, a true legend.

“His personal journey with MND inspired many people to come together and work to raise awareness of this devastating disease.

“This event provides an opportunity to honour his memory while also raising much-needed funds for the battle to find a cure.”

The event takes place in the Halyon Club, Moville from 6-8pm.
