Click Energy teams up with Health for Life to donate 50 costumes to Derry children this Hallowe’en
Derry-based utility company Click Energy is helping local children celebrate the city’s 40th anniversary of Halloween by donating 50 costumes to families in the community.
Andy Porter, Managing Director at Click Energy, said: “The city’s Halloween festival is world-renowned, and we want to help more local families share in the excitement.”
As Europe’s biggest Hallowe’en festival prepares to get underway, the electricity supplier has partnered with community organisation Health for Life, which will help to distribute the costumes among the families it supports.
“Health for Life does incredible work supporting families in the community, and this is a special opportunity to partner with them and bring some of the magic of Halloween to local children,” said Mr. Porter.

Health for Life – formed from the merger of the long-standing Old Library Trust and Bogside and Brandywell Health Forum healthy living organisations – works to improve health and wellbeing across Derry through community-based services, programmes and support, playing an important role in helping local families and strengthening community connections.
Mr. Porter said: “At Click Energy, the communities we serve are at the heart of our business, and we’re always looking for ways to make a positive difference. Donating these costumes is a small way of doing that, and we hope the children who receive them enjoy this year’s celebrations.”
Natasha Burke, Family First Hub Co-ordinator, said: “We are delighted with the generous donation of Halloween costumes from Click Energy to the Family Support Hub at Health for Life. We want to say a massive thank you in helping us make a difference to families by bringing joy, imagination and smiles to children's faces this Halloween.”
