We asked readers of the Derry Journal to send us details of carers they would like to pay tribute to and we have been delighted to receive each and every one of these heart-warming messages.
Thank you to everyone who has shared photos and messages with us.
We hope you enjoy celebrating the work these very special people are involved in and the difference they make to so many lives. A big "thank you" to every one of them!

Nuala Callaghan Cregan: "My beautiful twin daughters Jessica and Alice who are carers in Highgate Nursing Home in Scotland. They are only 20 years old and have been away from home for all this time and unable to return. They have worked tirelessly and they so deserve a mention! I am their Mammy and I'm so proud."

Rachael Mullan: "Danielle Mc Callion, a selfless and beautiful young lady who takes pride in her role as a carer for the elderly in a residential home. Loves her job and she aspires everyday to be better and with that she is doing an effortless job. Her hard work and dedication to her work is admirable, she is an asset to her team and colleagues and I'm sure she will move up the ladder and into a bigger role which she deserves. She works full-time in a residential home and she never complains she does her job and more to make it a positive experience for the residents and their families. Well done to you Danielle you are a credit to your work and staff team."
