Greencastle to Magilligan ferry service not operating over Easter

Local people on both sides of the border have been advised of changes to the Greencastle – Magilligan Foyle Ferry Service for 2020.

The service had been due to operate over the Easter period but the owners have now advised that this will not happen due to restrictions resulting from the coronavirus pandemic.

A spokesperson for the Frazer Ferry Group explained: “In light of the COVID - 19 situation and the restrictions already in place, Donegal County Council has agreed with the operators of the Foyle Ferry Service – Frazer Ferries Group - that the ferry service will not be running over the upcoming Easter period.
