A woman, aged 35 years old, was arrested on suspicion of Possession of a Class B controlled drug.

Both persons arrested remain in custody at this time.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Inspector Robb from Ballyarnett NPT said: "We know that drugs bring harm and control into communities, and only benefit those lining their pockets at the expense of others and the wider community.

“Drug supply and misuse is a vicious cycle that we need to collectively break, and we all have a part to play.

“As we continue to work to prevent and detect as much drug-related activity as possible, I would also appeal to anyone with information about illegal drug use or supply, to call police on the non-emergency number 101. Your information could be significant."
