Seanain gets a message from her idol Adam B

Seanain McCallion, who has a number of medical conditions including Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus, set up her channel to document what every day life is like for her.

So far, Seanain’s videos have been about her medical conditions and include information on how her tube feeds are done, how her stoma bag is changed and the routine she has to go through at nighttime before she can go to sleep.

The St Eithne’s Primary School pupil had hoped that local vlogger Adam B might follow her channel, as she is a huge fan and watches all his videos.

However, he did one better by sending a personal video to Seanain at the weekend.

In the video, Adam B tells Seanain she is ‘amazing’ and ‘inspirational.’

Seanain’s mum, Kathleen, said she wished she had filmed her daughter’s reaction to getting the video.

“She just put her hands up to her face in complete shock and disbelief and then started screaming!

“Even her sisters, Grace and Chloe, were so excited for her. They just sat in amazement watching the video.”

Kathleen said Seanain has watched the video a number of times and even had a dream about Adam B after receiving it.

“She is just loving it, nothing could knock her off her pedestal right now.”

Kathleen said her daughter is ‘super happy’.

“It makes her realise she is doing a good thing with her videos. People following her channel and sharing her videos has meant so much to her .

“She has had a tough time recently with hospital admissions and major surgery, this has just given her something really positive to focus on.”
