Dana, who is currently in lockdown in Australia, was delighted with the end result and dedicated the performance to all health and care workers across the world.
The mammoth project features contributions from 56 singers and 10 musicians involved in Scór - the cultural wing of the GAA in Ireland - and was developed to mark the 50th anniversary ahead of Monday night’s documentary ‘Dana - The Original Derry Girl’ by Waddell Media, which will air on both RTÉ 1 at 9.35pm and BBC 1 NI at 10.45pm, and on BBC Four on Friday May 15 at 11pm.

Gareth said it was a an honour to bring a new dimension to the famous song by making use of so many talented voices and musicians from the lengths and breadths of Ireland.
He told the Journal: “We are all involved on Scór and we did a video a couple of weeks ago with Nathan Carter, ‘An Irish Blessing’ and a friend of mine suggested we do this song with Dana’s Eurovision win anniversary coming up and of course Eurovision would have taken place this week but has been cancelled.”
One of those involved had a contact and they managed to get in touch with Dana through her son Rob, and the Derry singer was very happy to get involved.

“‘All Kinds of Everything’ has stood the test of time and it was great to bring a fresh approach to it as well. The youngest person on it is Annie (11) and there are others who weren’t born when it won the Eurovision or who were very young.”
Gareth had a couple of long nights editing and producing the song and video, but it was all worth it in the end.
“We got a good end result. Dana loved the end product. Dana is very humble herself and she saw it as an opportunity to thank the health and social care staff around the world and all the work they are doing during to tackle coronavirus.”
