Strathfoyle homes upgrade

Enagh Youth Forum has welcomed confirmation that the Housing Executive is to commence an External Cyclical Maintenance Scheme in the Strathfoyle area.

EYC spokesman Paul Hughes said that at present, a kitchen scheme incorporating 100 properties was progressing well, with estimated completion date at the end of December.

He said: “Now the NIHE has confirmed that work will be carried out on 222 properties. This scheme has an estimated on site date of January 2017.

“This scheme is much needed and will greatly improve and enhance these properties. “Enagh Youth Forum actively promotes pride of place within the local Strathfoyle community and this is welcomed news. We will continue to liaise with the NIHE and provide rely updates to residents.”
