Let's face it, we have the greatest football fans in the world.

Whether it’s changing a car tyre, singing the ‘Our Father’ with a nun or having the craic with football fans from other countries, the Republic of Ireland fans have it down to a tee.

Though some fans of the ‘Boys in Green’ might have been disappointed that Martin O’Neill’s men didn’t beat Sweden earlier this week there can be no doubting the prowess of the their supporters off the pitch.

The French has labelled the Irish as the greatest supporters to ever descend upon their country and with tales emerging of fans from both sides of the border sharing beers and singing songs together it’s easy to see why.

The Republic of Ireland’s next game is against Belgium in Bordeaux on Saturday; kick-off 2:00p.m.
