The debate nights are the latest in a series of innovative programmes brought forward for the Lenten season.

St. Eugene’s Cathedral has already introduced a Prayer, Fasting and Almsgiving (PFA) Programme for the Lenten season.

The PFA programme is designed to draw people closer to God, and participants are receiving a special prayer to pray each day.

“This is designed to help us to live with love, compassion and forgiveness at the heart of our daily lives,” a spokesman said.
