'˜They're f***ing cheats. They're cheating b******s'

Irish boxer, Michael Conlon.

Conlan was unable to hide his disdain at the result saying “They’re f***ing cheats. They’re cheating b******s. That’s the end of my Olympic gold - my dream’s been shattered now.” Much like the rest of Ireland, BoyleSports share his anger and annoyance at the unjust decision and will be honouring all bets placed on Michael Conlan to win the match and also to win a medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Aoife Heffron, PR Executive for BoyleSports commented: “We have made the conscious decision to pay out on all bets placed on Michael Conlan to win his Bantamweight quarter-final clash and on Conlan to win an Olympic medal as we believe he was the true victor and was in fact robbed of a place in the semi-finals.”

She added “It has been a tough few days for Irish boxing and we just hope the payout will give punters and fans some solace.”
